COOKING TIME: 3-3.5h

Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions

  • 2 - 4 tsp BBQ seasoning to taste

  • 1 kg chicken breast fillets

  • 100 ml apple juice, white wine or chicken stock


TO SERVE:
  • 300 - 400 ml BBQ sauce

  • 8 hamburger buns

  • coleslaw or

Preparation:

  1. Place the onion rings in the insert of the slow cooker.

  2. Rub the chicken with the BBQ seasoning and place in the crockpot, pour in the liquid

  3. If desired, remove all or part of the cooking liquid if too much liquid has formed. Add BBQ sauce and cook on HIGH for another 30 minutes until sauce is hot.

  4. Toast the rolls, top with meat and coleslaw - and enjoy.
