The story

The founding

Rotel AG was founded in 1948 in Aarburg, Aargau. However, the first product – a fan – sold only in modest numbers due to a rainy summer. In the fall of that same year, the motor and fan blades were fitted with a heater, encased in a sheet metal casing, and successfully sold in the winter as the "Rotel Climaboy" hot air fan. In the following years, the small appliance range was systematically expanded to include hair dryers, food processors, hand mixers, vacuum cleaners, juicers, coffee machines, and many other electrical appliances.
