Summer is the perfect time to enjoy delicious cold coffee specialties. Here are six refreshing recipes that will delight any coffee lover.
1. Iced coffee
Ice Coffee is a simple and
refreshing way to enjoy coffee. Add freshly brewed, cooled coffee over ice cubes and milk or a plant-based drink of your choice. With a dash of syrup (eg vanilla or caramel) you can
refine your ice coffee even further.
2. AFFOGATO
Affogato is a traditional
and simple Italian coffee specialty anchored in Italy. A scoop of vanilla ice cream is poured over a hot espresso. The contrast between hot and cold and sweet and bitter makes this dessert irresistible.
3. Coffee smoothie
A coffee smoothie is every morning grouch's dream come true. Packed with whole grains, fruit and coffee, it has everything you need to go from 0 to 100 in just a few minutes.
Place banana (1), coffee (120 ml), milk (120 ml), oatmeal, coarse (4 tablespoons) and nut butter (1 tablespoon) in a blender.
Then serve and enjoy!
4. Tiramisu
Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert made of layers of ladyfingers, coffee, a creamy mascarpone mixture and cocoa. This recipe does not require the addition of eggs. Prepared in just a few steps, it is a real treat for

Ingredients:
- 200g whipped cream
- 250g mascarpone
- 50g icing sugar
- 2 espressos
- 2 tablespoons amaretto or orange juice, water
- 190g ladyfingers. B. Spelt ladyfingers
- 1 tbsp baking cocoa
Accesories:
A rectangular shape (approx. 17 × 24 cm).
For a non-alcoholic tiramisu you can add Amaretto, 2 tablespoons of water or orange juice to the espresso.
Preparation:
- Put the whipped cream in a mixing bowl and beat until stiff.
- Put the mascarpone and icing sugar in a bowl and stir until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream. Mix the espresso with the amaretto.
- Line the mold tightly with half of the ladyfingers (95 g) and drizzle with half of the espresso-amaretto mixture, then spread half of the mascarpone cream on top.
- Spread a second layer of ladyfingers (95 g) on top and drizzle with the remaining espresso-amaretto mixture.
- Finally, pour the remaining mascarpone cream over the top and smooth it out. Leave to rest in the fridge for 12 hours, preferably overnight.
Before serving, dust the tiramisu with baking cocoa (1 tablespoon) passed through a fine sieve.
5. Frozen Mocha Cake
A frozen mocha cake is the perfect blend of rich coffee and creamy ice cream, ideal for those warm summer days.
Ingredients for coffee chocolate crust:
- 12 Graham Crackers, chocolate
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 80g butter, melted
- 1 tsp instant coffee powder
Ingredients for mocha cake:
- 180 ml coffee, freshly brewed
- 175g sauce half cream, chilled
- Milk as needed
- Vanilla extract
- 100g pudding powder,
- 455g whipped cream
- 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Preparation:
- Place the chocolate graham crackers (12) in a plastic bag and roll with a rolling pin to crumble them. Alternatively, you can crush the cookies in a food processor or food processor.
- In a 20 cm cake tin, mix the crumbs with the sugar (4 tablespoons). Pour in the butter (80 g) and mix with a fork until it resembles coarse sand. Stir in the instant coffee powder (1 teaspoon) until well mixed.
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the cake tin. Refrigerate while you prepare the cake filling.
- In a large bowl, add the coffee (180 ml), single cream (175 g) and vanilla extract (as needed). Then stir in the pudding powder and chocolate fudge (100 g). Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed for about 3 minutes until everything is creamy and smooth.
- Using a silicone spatula, carefully fold in the whipped cream (455 g) and the chocolate syrup (3 tablespoons). Do not stir too vigorously.
- Pour the mocha filling evenly into the prepared cake pan on top of the cracker base.
- Place the cake in the freezer for about 3 or 4 hours until it is completely frozen and firm in the center.
